Eng., Jacqueline Gresko of Douglas College and Allen Domas of the Fraser Port Harbour Commission are doing a great public service holding classes describing the Fraser River’s history for the general public, young and old alike. It is interesting to see the way the river has been guided and deepened over time to accommodate this city and area. The many marinas and businesses are worth observing. I hope others be- come more concerned with life along the river’s edge. The differences between the poverty of some of the marinas and the wealth that is being displayed in the new developments is astounding. Thank you, Fraser Port authorities, for the excellent tour through time. Dora Sanders, New Westminster. 9
