I have been asked by Canada Council to be on its National Book
Week committee, which means that I will be involved in setting up
or recommending for approval special projects for the National Book
Festival in B.C., May 11-17, 1981. If you have any suggestions, or
have a project you would like considered for funding, please let me
know. I believe I will also be involved with Canada Council's Book
Purchase and distribution program, so if you know any worthy organiza-
tions (besides ourselves) that would like a donation of Canadian books,
