College Cambrian College In 18 years of responsive community service, Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology has become the largest post-secondary educational institution in Northern Ontario. A staff of over 475 provides educational services, on two modern campuses in Sudbury to 5,000 full-time and 15,000 part-time students in post-secondary, skill and trade, and general interest programs. Cambrian is a bilingual college which offers 85 post-secondary programs, 40 of which are designed specifically to serve the Franco-Ontarian population of the area. Two highly-experienced individuals are sought to join the senior management group of the college and to work closely with the President in providing academic and administrative leadership to the institution. Dean of College Programs (Vice-President Academic Level) This position is accountable for all academic programs at the college, with the exception of those programs provided in the French language. Reporting directly to the incumbent are the Director of Science and Technology, the Director of Business and Applied Arts, the Director of Industrial Training, the Director of Community Programs and the Director of Academic Support Programs. Candidates for this position will already have established a senior profile in academic administration acquired over a number of years of progressive experience. Academic credentials would be expected at the Master’s level. Dean of Finance and Administration The incumbent will provide management direction to all administrative functions of the college which include finance, M.I.S., planning and development, plant and property, purchasing, and bookstore services. In addition to extensive experience in financial administration acquired as senior managers preferably within the educational system or a similar environment, candidates for this position will have demonstrated particularly strong interpersonal and management abilities.
