= 32> | LOUGLAS COLLEGE | ARCHIVES I.B.M. TYPING ELEMENTS In the past we have advised the clerical support staff to file broken I.B.M. typing elements in the round basket as it was not possible to repair them. Today we received a letter from a firm in Ontario that does repair these elements. With the exception of damaged letters, almost all defects can be rectified. The cost of repair is $12.00 each and elements must be sent in min- imum lots of three. Would all clerical staff in future forward their broken elements to the Purchasing Department, complete with your name and campus location. As we accumulate the minimum lot quantities we will forward them to the firm in Ontario for repair. Please keep in mind that due to the minimum lot requirements and the geographical location of the firm you should not expect the return of your element within a short period of time. If you have an urgent requirement for that particular element please complete a requisi- tion for a new element. Thank you for your help. ...-Devona Davies FIRST AID FACILITIES It has come to our attention that many people are not aware of the First Aid facilities available at Surrey, New Westminster and Richmond. There are both First Aid rooms and certified Industrial First Aid Attendants at these campuses. If you need to use the First Aid room, contact either the Switchboard or the First Aid Attendant(s).
