Rioss Cameron, Director of Personnel and Labour Relations SEMESTER DATES FOR FALL 1987 | wanted to pass on some information regarding the semester dates to ex- plain some anomalies. Labour Day falls on September 7, 1987. A decision was made not to begin classes prior to Labour Day. Therefore, with fourteen weeks of instruction, the semester finishes on December | 1. Because of Christmas holidays, it is impossible to schedule exams and allow for make up days for this semester. Exams are scheduled from December 14 to 19. The 19th is a Saturday. My office will make every effort to schedule exams in five days. How- ever, if this scheduling proves im- possible, we will use the Saturday. Please contact me if you want to voice any concerns.
