This is part of a fundraising drive to increase the size of the endowment fund for scholarships and bursaries available to Douglas College students. We hope that you will join us in this endeavour by donating those household items (dishes, books, furniture, clothing, records, toys, crafts) that you no longer use or need. We will pick up the larger merchandise at your convenience, but request that you drop off all other items at Room 1317 by the gym. For the bake sale, cookies, muffins, cakes, and breads will all be welcome. Wrap all items in clear plastic food wrap. Small portions which could be sold for $.50 or $1.00 are especially needed. If possible, put them on a paper or plastic plate. Whole cakes and breads should be identified as chocolate, vanilla, banana bread, etc. Please bring baked goods to the concourse on the morning of Wednesday, March 15.
