Towards this objective, Terry Leonard, Purchasing Manager has been meeting with the Deans and Bursar. Bill Day EPPCO'S Year Summary The April 13, 1983 meeting of the Educa- tional Policy and Planning Committee marked the end of the inaugural year of your senior governance committee. Elec- tions are currently being held for a num- ber of positions on EPPCO to replace ex- pired one-year positions, or to replace vacancies resulting from resignations from from the committee. Committee members felt it would be worth- while and timely to publish a number of documents for your information: A. A copy of the role and function state- ment developed by the committee for its own operation, approved by tiem at their March 17, 1982 meeting, and accept- ed by the College Board on June 16, 1982. B. A list of major tasks undertaken by the committee over the year. This list was provided to the Board in March, when members of EPPCO were formally intro- duced to them. C. A copy of the EPPCO membership list. (The list attached shows membership as of February, 1983. A revised list will be published in an upcoming Mad Hatter, following election of new members. This 1ist shows those members who were in place through most of the year's activities.) Should you have any questions about the activities of your committee, please feel free to speak with any of the members, or with my office. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the Educational Policy and Planning Committe for their consider- able efforts over the past year, with spec- ial appreciation to those whose terms of office are now over. They have all worked very hard on your behalf, laying a founda- tion upon which the committee can build, over the coming months and years. Bill Day Chairman, Educational Policy & Planning Committee
