Douglas opened the third game almost exactly as they had the first, dashing to a 6-0 lead, before the Falcons coach finally had to call a timeout. Langara was also hit with a yellow card for arguing a question- able line call early in the game. DC kept up the heat on the Falcons’ defense, using quick attacks in the middle and crushing kills on the outside to come away with a 15-5 victory. The Royals con- tinued to pick up their play in the fourth game, punch- ing hole after hole through the Langara blockers. The fast attacking DC hitters were too much for the slower Falcons defenders, who missed easy digs on many of the Douglas kills.
