For the first time ever,
graduates wore gowns to receive
their diplomas, certificates and
citations. "My feeling was that the
time had come to change the
ceremonies," says Trish Angus,
Registrar.

"It’s our twentieth anniver-
sary," she adds, "so we wanted to
make this graduation extra spe-
cial."

Graduates, friends and family
were entertained by a wide variety
of speakers, including fellow stu-
dents, board members, deans and
special guests.

Pam Burry, president of the
Faculty Association, enlightened
graduates as to the significance of
their achieveinents in post secon-
dary education.
