SESSIONAL FACULTY MEMBERS

For your information, we would like to
point out that the Premises for Allocation
of Employees to the Two Colleges apply to
sessional faculty as well as all other

employees.

Specifically, sections #4 and #5 assure
employees of assistance in obtaining
employment in both colleges as sessionals
as well as an access to regular employ-
ment.

 

Below: Statement-Premises for Allocation

of Employees to the Two Colleges.

1. All regular employees will retain
their rights to regular employment
and benefits.

2. As much as possible, employees will
have their wishes re location give:
serious consideration. Appeals shall
be through the respective Labour-
Management Committees.

3. If an employee's job is deemed redund-
ant as a result of the College split,
the employee will be guaranteed
employment with no loss in salary,
benefits, rights and seniority.

4. Employees will retain all accumulated
seniority to assist them in attaining
employment and benefits at either
college.

5. There will be the possibility of
joint appointments of employees pro-
vided for in both colleges.

6. The proportion of part-time employees
will not be increased by the division
of the college.
