Doerr, Director of Continuing and Community Education. Interested applicants should note that the Occupational Education Consultant will be expected to work closely with the Director of Vocational Education, as well as with Continuing Education personnel on a full-time basis in providing leadership in the development of part-time occupational education services throughout the Douglas College region. Time releases for other Consultant positions will be negotiated to suit the interest and ex- pertise of the successful applicants and may include the possibility of combining positions. H. Doerr, Continuing and Community Education TO ALL FACULTY ‘ The ministry of Education in developing a number of interesting programs in "instruc=- tional techniques". The thrust of this development work has been to put together packages of information that can be used by colleges for orientation and initial training of new faculty members. The programs will be modularized and can be offered either complete in a four to five day period, or in one-day workshops, or even three hours per evening over a longer period. The Ministry is funding a conference on May 11 and workshops on May 12 and 13 to familiarize trainers with this material. The conference will be open to anyone, but the workshops will be restricted to three to five individuals per college. Douglas College is seeking faculty members who would be interested in attending the conference and workshops.
