@® CSB Payroll Savings Plan

Douglas College is offering employees the >
CSB Payroll Savings Plan. All you have to
do is fill out the application form available
in the Payroll office and return it by Oct.
22. A deduction based on the amount of
bonds you apply for will then be made
from your pay. During the year, regular de-
ductuions (about $2 a week for every $100
CSB you buy) will pay for the bonds.

@® Encyclopedias available
The Libary has purchased a new edition of
the World Book Enclycpedia 1993. The
earlier edition (1987) is being withdrawn
from the reference collection and is for
sale. Sealed bids for its purchase must be
received in the Purchasing Department,
Room 4840, by 2pm on Friday, October 15.

2® Basic WordPerfect courses
Two courses are being offered that did not
appear on the Douglas College Develop-
ment calendar. They are: WordPerfect 5.0
Basic on Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Wednesday,
Oct. 6 from 9am to noon in Room 1616,
and; WordPerfect 5.1 Basic on Tuesday,
Oct. 19 from 8:30am to 2pm in Room @
1717. Call local 5440 to register. A
