Sept, 17, 1973 | 12 A SUBMISSION FROM THE SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT'S FACULTY DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 1. The following proposal was prepared by the Advisory Committee during May, 1973. Members: S. Mitchell, J. Sellers, K. Dercole, T. Snelgrove N. Mansfield, Chairman. 2. This proposal was presented to the Social Science Department in August, 1973. The department supported the proposal and asked that it be placed before the College Faculty Development Committee. 3. On Sept. 7, 1973, J. Sellers briefly presented the proposal to the College Faculty Development Committee. Chairman,W. Blair, requested a written submission. 4. This submission was prepared by J. Sellers and respectfully submitted on behalf of the Social Science Department. Oct. 15, 1973 This proposal was presented to the College Assembly. The Assembly voted to have the proposal reprinted in the "Mad Hatter" and placed on the agenda for the next College Assembly. It is expected that all college departments will study and discuss the proposal and bring recommendations to the next assembly. (The Psychology discipline group has already met and expressed their support for the proposal in a letter to J. Sellers.) FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
