Both men’s and women’s bas-
ketball teams from Douglas played
commendably February 23 and
24th. The men’s team won both
games Friday and Saturday, hoop-
ing 93 - 75 against Cariboo College
and then 90 - 68 against Capilano.
This two game take-over now gives
them a chance to play in the
BCCAA Championships which
started at TWV March 2nd.

The women’s team, in spite of
their valiant efforts,.were not suc-
cessful in reaching the champion-
ships because of a two game loss
against Cariboo and Capilano Col-
lege.
