Subject: Gallery Opening Lance Austin - Olsen
Opening at the Rose Jar, 15625 Marine Drive, White Rock, June 20th.,

at 8:30 p.m., is an exhibit of Ceramics, Watercolours, drawings and
Sculptures by Lance Olsen.

Lance is a local artist who has exhibited both nationally and inter-
nationally.

In 1972 he was one of three Canadian artist asked to represent
Canada in the 2nd Trienniel of Woodcuts in Carpi, Italy.

In 1974 he was one of two Canadian artists asked to represent the
country at the 5th Bienniel of Graphics in Krakow.

He has numerous works in private collections in New York and London.
as well as Western Canada.

Ke has just closed a highly successful exhibit at the House of Ceramics
in Vancouver.

The Rose Jar exhibit will be his only show before the opening of his
large exhibition in Seattle October 31lst., at the Cole Gallery.
