Please note that during the summer the service for Audio-Visual Equipment at the David Lam Campus runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. News from the CSD Brian Morton, coordinator of the Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD), worked his last day at Douglas College on May 24. He is moving to SFU where he will head up Disability Services. Daniela Pacheva, who has been the New Directions Program Faculty person this year, was just hired to replace Brian. Also in the CSD, Dr. Patricia Mossman has been granted a leave of absence to do some neuro-psychology training for more in-depth educational consultation in both her private practice and when she returns to CSD. Wilson presents Mike Wilson, Geology instructor, presented research at the 54th annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Section of the Geological Society of America, May 7-9 in Cedar City, Utah. Approximately 400 geoscientists attended the event where Mike presented research on the Late Pleistocene and Holocene Geoarchaeology and Paleontology at the Sheep Rock Spring Site, Montana. Back to school Patty Lewis of Financial Aid reports that “Louise Jenkins, who was our financial aid advisor at the David Lam Campus, has been accepted into the PDP Program at SFU for Fall 2002. His registered name is Bernecho’s First Degree Berner, and his call-name is Brodie.
