the Other Press support to students A Plea fora Resolution I moved away from my family to have a career. Please get the show on the road - we are here for our future. . I feel as though we (the stu- dents) are the ones being punished for this dispute. This should have been resolved long ago. The teachers deserve all they want; they “Management needs their butts kicked!" I am not impressed with Student organisers ask questions on the 9th should be heard. My whole year may now be jeopardized. Corinne Browning be moved to the gym to Admin.’s Chief Negotiator Ross Cameron looks amused Answer Our Questions! To The Management: I showed up on Thursday night at the board meeting and I saw that - Jamie had two simple questions for you to answer. Through out the meeting you did not answer either questions. When you cannot answer two simple questions in a simple yes and no answer there is seriously something wrong. On the other hand Faculty have been so cooperative and have answered all .the questions within their capability. Furthermore, I can see why now even faculty are having such a hard time communicating with you. In my opinion if you cannot communicate with the faculty on a one to one basis then I don’t think a mediator will make a difference. you can bring in ten mediators and it still won’t make a difference until you decide that cooperation is the prerequisite for comming to an agreement. So, if you really care then cooperate with the Faculty and come to an agreement and end this strike Paul Dhalla Giving up hope Strike Hurts Families I personally wish to demand the faculty and administration to get this strike settled now. I ama single parent, this course is my hope for providing a living and to support my daughter. There is no reason for the Administration to refuse to meet the faculty face to face at the barganing table. I can’t afford to loose my semester, I don’t want a refund of my tuition-- it won’t cover my living expenses or make up for the time lost or the energy or enthusiasm I can’t easily regain to try to recomplete my courses. Doesn’t anyone appreciate the personal damage that has occured, the frustration and added anxiety and pressure this strike has placed onthe students over and above the normal stress of completing a col- lege education? If they do-- meet face to face and get us back in classes. C. Green Student Really Mad I feel very angry that my career is jeopardized because of this, I’m really mad!!!! Tracy Lee management’s insensitivity to the students. They obviously don’t give a hoot about us. I am a mature student and can’t afford to lose a semester. I have put in two and a half months worth of studies and work and don’t relish the idea of repeating this semester! Management needs their butts kicked! Pauline Sholly Pam Burry and Adrienne Peacock spoke at the rally Page 5 Short but Sweet 3 strikes in 2 years, come on now! Donna Carey 6th semester Psych Nursing FED UP! I am fed up with being used as a pawn in this battle between the faculty and administration. I am losing time and money I can ill afford. I do not support either side. I support myself and my right to the education I have paid for. I demand action by both sides! Pamela Traves We.Cannot Afford Strike Dear Management: We Nursing students badly , need to finish our program. _ Likewise, health care facilities badly need Graduate Nurses.
