Vouglas College students had outstanding

success in the weightlifting competitions
at the recent B.C. Winter Games in Osoyoos.

They were led by Richard Waack, who won
three gold medals and qualified for the
National Championships in the 67.5 kilo
class. He was featured on a BCTV telecast
and will compete for the Nationa! Champion-
ship in Ontario in May.

Chris Suda also won three gold medals in
the 60 kilo category and John Kelly won
three gold in the 110 kilo division.

Don O'Day won a silver and two bronze in
the 67.5 kilo class.
