ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF USERS GROUP CHAIRMAN AND ADMINISTRATORS—OF—
: | REFERENCE

(1) All advice to the Furniture and Equipment Sub-committee will be

' reviewed and approved by the appropriate Users Group in the

presence of and with the active involvement of the designated
Administrator of Reference. In a case of a major conflict of
opinion between the Users Group and the Administrator of Reference,
separate memoranda by the affected parties will be requested.
VERBAL ADVICE - Verbal advice and information will not be treated

' as germane.

: (2) The channel for communication with the F.E.S. will be via the

i Administrator of Reference and Barbara Bessey, Project Assistant/
Secretary to the F.E.S.

(3) Detailed written records will be kept of baseline documents and
' their revisions. The recording and traffic control of such
documents will be the responsibility of Barbara Bessey who will
: also be responsible for keeping Administrators of Reference in-
; formed of F.E.S. requirements and deadlines.

All information on all aspects of the project will continue to be
available at the office of the New Westminster Campus Principal
(contact Barbara Bessey) or the office of the Project Manager (contact

DIVISION OF DOUGLAS COLLEGE APPOINTMENT OF R.R. LISSON

 

: At a meeting on October 16 the College Board appointed R.R. Lisson
to be a second Bursar for subsequent duties and responsibilities at
one of the two colleges. The effective date for the appointment will
¥ amg ee at a later date following the naming of the new Chief Executive
icers.

Bob has been with Douglas since May 1970 and has been Assistant
Bursar for the past five years.

We all extend our congratulations and best wishes to Bob on his
new and challenging responsibilities.

FITNESS

Douglas College now has a universal gym, and exercise bicycle in
the basement at Agnes Street Centre, together with some excellent
material on exercising, fitness or whatever you prefer to call it. The
DYNAVIT Bicycle is also available for personalized fitness testing.

Li yeou wish to see the equipment, take part in an exercise program
or be tested (it only takes ten minutes) don't hesitate to call me or
drop by sometime. We need new blood occasionally in Agnes.
