DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS pou ARCHIVES The Co-ordinating Committee shall establish a’.Program Development Committee who will devise a program to meet the identified training needs. In every instance the Committee will have as members: a) officials of the Department of Labour. b) officials of the Department of Education. c) representatives from the group of potential employers for graduates of the program. : d) representatives from the collective bargaining unit which graduates of the program will join. ; e) representatives from the melded colleges, wocational schools, or B.C.1.T. to be selected by the’ Department of Education from among the possible eventual localities where the program may be offered. Each Progrem Development Committee will describe the type of student to be admitted to the program, establish the content of the course, the ‘ material and equipment list to be used and a projected per student cost for the program. On completion, its report will be made to the Co-ordinating Committee. It will be the responsibility of the Co-ordinating Committee to ensure that every program is devisec in such a way as to be compatibie with all other programs so devised and to ensrre uniformity and equity insofar as this is necessary. Where a new instructor is to be hired <. teach the program, the present selection practice will be followed, involving joint participating between the Department of Labour and the Depaztment of Educaticn or one of its associated agencies. 17 SOE mE ON ee mR IRE a Rm
