INSIDE DOUGLAS COLLEGE / APRIL 11, 1989 © © briefs NEW BOOKING SYSTEM - A-V USERS The Audio-Visual Department will be operating an automated software booking system as of May Ist. This new system should speed service and facilitate record keeping. The system uses a bar code, "a printed machine-readable code" commonly used in grocery stores. To maintain speed and efficiency it will be essential that faculty and staff present their employee card each time they borrow a video or film. Please stop in at your convenience to register on the system and have the bar code affixed on your employee card. - Helen Rowan, Audio-Visual Librarian FACULTY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT "The Role of Perception in Learning", is the theme of several workshops scheduled for Wednesday, May 17 from 9:00 am. to 4:00 pm.
