INTERNAL MATTERS - LABOUR RELATIONS No new significant developments have occurred in relation to the two grievances referred to at the last Board meeting. . INTERNAL MATTERS - GENERAL The Board Chairman, Mr. W.R. Emerton, is having regular weekly meetings with me. I appreciate the opportun- ity that this provides to discuss matters relating to future develop- ment of the College. Special meetings have been held of the Furnishings and Equipment Sub- Committee of the College relating to planning for financial stringencies, and in relation to the re-engineer- ing of the former Instructional Re- source Centre in the new building. A major meeting of the Steering Com mittee was held on March 9, which was reported on to the Board by Mr. Sandy Tompson, the Chairman. I am pleased to inform the Board that a program of staff orientation and development is now underway, through the co-operative efforts of our staff and personnel department. A Stand- ing Committee has been formed, and an extensive program of activities is now under consideration. The first formal program will occur dur- ing this next month. a ne ee ere MAD HATTER PAGE 4 THANKS FROM WEST GRAYDON RE: NWPC TOUR - MARCH 20 To all "VOLUNTEERS" who did guide duty on Saturday at the N.W.P.C.
