Due to vacations, typesetting facilities at the Printing Department Newton Campus will be closed for a two week period cammencing July 30 through August 16 inclusive. Mervin Schindel, of the Newton Graphics Department, has informed me that he will be available during this period for em- ergency typesetting only. He may be reached at Locals 37 and 32. Tom Rosamond 1982 B.C. GAMES FOR THE PHYSICALLY DISABLED The Annual B.C. Games for the Physically Disabled will be held in Langley on July 9 to 11. The Games, hosted by the B.C. Wheelchair Sports Association, will occur at various locations in Langley, with Langley Senior Secondary School as the key location. Same of the events include volleyball, tennis, table tennis, basketball, murder- ball, archery, motorball, track events, weight lifting, swimming, and golf. Same events are open to any disabled athlete while other events are classified by dis- ability. Categories include wheelchair, amputees, blind, deaf, and cerebral palsy. Your interest and support can be shown by going to watch same events and cheering the athletes, or by volunteering your time. Many volunteers are needed to serve food, register athletes, drive participants to other locations, clean the grounds, and repair wheelchairs. Anyone interested in being a volunteer should call 530-3131 or 687-3333.
