Re: PROVINCIAL COMMITTEE ON COMPUTER-BASED EDUCATION

IT am chairing a provincial consultative committee that will be offering
advice to the Ministry of Advanced & Continuing Education, on policy and funding,
in the area of educational use of computers in Post-Secondary Education.

The committee has acquired baseline information from each of the
colleges on current educational projects involving use of computers. Attached
are summaries of current projects going on in Douglas College, that will be
of general interest. These are the result of a very fast survey, and there
may be others of which we should be aware. Please contact Virginia Chisholm
if you have further information or comment to offer.
