Innovation Abstracts

With this issue of the Mad Hatter, we begin the distribution of
INNOVATION ABSTRACTS. This newsletter which contains articles on
subjects related to Professional and organizational development in
Community Colleges will be circulated as a supplement, 3-hole
punched for removal and retention in a 3-ring binder.

While the variety of topics addressed will mean that every issue will
not be of interest to all employees, we expect that, overall, there will
be a benefit to distributing each issue to everyone.

INNOVATION ABSTRACTS is published by the National Institute for Staff
and Organizational Development (NISOD) based at the University of

Texas at Austin. NISOD is funded by a Kellog Foundation grant and
officers of the Institute are working with the Association of Canadian
Community Colleges and interested Canadian college personnel to obtain
grant funds for a similar Canadian organization. In the mean time,
Douglas College has become a member of NISOD for the 84-85 school year.
