A huge amount of equipment from four labs had to be disassembled and moved and thousands of students were affected — this crack team of Facilities Department and Health Sciences employees ensured there was no disruption in instruction. Retirement party central Employees had their daytimers filled with retirement celebrations last month. In one day, employees party-hopped between celebrations for outgoing Performing Arts Assistant Bonnie Bauder, Child, Family and Community Studies Adminstrative Officer Kathleen Walden and Building Services Worker Neil Douglas. Left: Farewell No. 1 Building Services Workers bade farewell to their brethren Neil Douglas in a fitting tribute. His colleagues were inspired by the Vancouver Canucks, who retired Trevor Linden’s number and hung it from the rafters at General Motors Place. 3
