The Vancouver YWCA requires a Program
Director for Camp Yawaca - Part-time
leading to full-time.

Duties include hiring and training of
camp staff, establishment of the over-
all summer camp programs, supervision
of summer camp staff, campers and pro-
gram areas.

Applicants should have experience as a
Camp Director or Assistant. Background
should include considerable experience
in camp program planning, leadership
training, waterfront skills etc.

OTHER POSITIONS REQUIRED AT CAMP YAWACA:
- July and August 1982

Assistant Director: Applicants should
have a college degree and/or equivalent
experience in camping; at least 2 years
experience in outdoor recreation leader-
ship.

Out-trip Director: Applicants should
have a current St. John's First Aid
certificate; current Basic Canoe in-
structor certificate; at least 2 years
experience in outdoor recreation leader-
ship.

General Counsellors: Applicants should
have one year of college or equivalent
in experience significant for camping
Counsellor specialist: Arts & Craft,
Nature Interpreter, Sports - Games,
J.C.I.T. Leader; Applicant should have
3 years of camping experience; ability
to supervise and organize adults and
children.

Waterfront Director: Applicants should
have a current Water Safety Instructor
certificate from the Canadian Red Cross
or an organization having equivalent
standards; at least one year's exper-
ience on a camp water front; 3 years of
college or equivalent experience in
camping.

Camp Nurse: Applicant should have

RN degree and licensed to practice in
B.C.; Experience or a background in
school or public health nursing, (an
asset, but not required), camping ex-
perience; Class 4 Driver's License
