To develop a "shopping list" of items for the new campus: (a) standard classroom, office and public furniture (b) new equipment for new programs and fields (c) new equipment for enhanced and enlarged instructional fields (a) required equipment for existing instructional fields The "Rules of the Game" for the next phase of planning: 1. This system is rigid and accessible. The architect is completely free to make any enquiry of anyone within the College providing the chain of communication is followed. Similarly, anybody within Douglas College is free to address any issue relating to the building, providing he/she again uses an appropriate channel. All decisions will be made with full consultation of affected personnel, except in cases of deadlines mandated by -the architect in which case it ™ could be impossible to assemble all required personnel for input. In such cases, the Principal, New Westminster Campus, and the Project Manager, will assume full responsibility for decisions that are made. i 2. Decisions made in conflict areas will follow full discussion of affected parties, with final decision by the Principal, New Westminster Campus, subject to appeal to the Steering Committee. 3. The Steering Committee will continue as the active reference and adjudicating body during the course of the project.
