Sports RUGBY TEAMS WIN 2 OUT OF 3 ‘The College rugby teams continued showing bimpressive form on Saturday November 20, winning 2 out of their 3 matches. The third team had little trouble subduing b Burnaby rugby club by a score of 12-4. Particu- Slarly impressive for Douglas were rookles Davind BDeol, Dave Longman and Rollie Dubois. Deol and BLongman both scored excellent touchdowns both of Bwhich were converted by Dave Jagger. The third ) team now have 5 wins, | tie and no losses to the credit this year. ‘ The second team came back from a 12-9 defic slate in the game to defeat Surrey by a score of 818-12. The second team Is the "hottest'' team in B the second division right now having won their Blast 5 games. Scorers for Douglas were Grover B Telford and Phil Campeau with touchdowns and B veteran Brian McAdam with two converts and two S field goals. Also outstanding for Douglas were B Steve Holmes and Al Harness. The first team went down 12-4 to league g leaders Surrey in an extremely rough and tough battle that raged up and down the field for 80 Rminutes. Douglas could have won this one with a B few breaks but it was not to be. Jamie Booth 2 played an excellent game on the right wing for g Douglas and scored Douglas' only points on a R touchdown.
