We are enclosing literature describing the 1973-74 season of the American Film

Theatre which will have its premiere across North America on Monday-Tuesday,
October 29-30.

We regard it as a novel and exciting concept from a cultural point of view,
bringing to the general public some of the finest Broadway and London West End
Plays on film -- not filmed directly as plays on stage but given the added dim-
ensions of the film medium, A valid comparison would be "Sleuth" on stage and
"Sleuth" as a current film, You will see from our leaflet that some of the

world's most distinguished players, playwrights and directors are involved with
our program.

Our regular price scale is $28 for 8 evening performances and $20 for 8 mtinees.
However, recognizing the appeal our program should have for university students
we have established a special "group sale" price for matinees of $14.40 per
eight-performance subscription, which would be $5.60 off the regular mtinee
price of $20.00.

We suggest the simplest way of implementing such a group purchase would be for
university faculties or departments to order 20 or more matinee subscriptions,
pay for the bulk orders,then re-sell or redistribute the tickets at their dis-
eretion. We have enclosed an order form should you wish to take advantage of the

special rate. (SEE PAGE 21)

You can be assured we would be on ly too happy to provide informational leaflets
for mailings or posters for bulletin boards.

Fixed playdates and theatres are listed in the enclosed leaflet but the sequences
of our films change from zone to zone, as follows:
