EXPANDING HORIZONS 12th Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Conference 1st International Federation Pan-Pacific Symposium Vancouver, B.C. July 23-27, 1986 Program Content 19886 is the year of Man in Motion. CMBEC - 12 will feature technical sessions on themes relating to Biomedical Engineering in Trans- portation and Communication Technologies, on Rehabilitation and Clinical Engi- neering, and on Biomedical Research and Development. The program will also include keynote addresses by international leaders in the fields, exhibits of the latest technologies, workshops, a student paper competition, poster sessions, and range of social activities. Location cmsec-12willbeneiad Subject Areas on the magnificent campus of the Clinical Engineering University of British Columbia, a short Rehabilitation Engineering 15 minute drive from downtown Mobility and Communication Aids Vancouver and the site of Expo 86. Medical Instrumentation The campus site offers superb meeting Independant Living for the Disabled and exhibit areas, nearby BME in Inner and Outer Space accommodation and a wide range of Biomedical Research amenities and activities. ARCHIVES Call for Participants 1986 will be a busy year in Vancouver. Many groups are now beginning to plan special events to coincide with Expo 86: World in Motion - World in Touch.
