Celebration in honor of Bill Day

@ bill Day is stepping down from his position as College President in August 1995.
He’s moving on to new challenges and new horizons, but we can’t let him get away
without a roast and final celebration in his honor. There will be dinner,
entertainment, and many stories about Bill from the people he has worked
with in his time at Douglas College. All College faculty, staff and
administrators are invited. Casual dress is suggested (jeans are okay!)

Dinner: 7:00pm
Celebration in Performing Arts Theatre: 9:00pm

If you can’t join us at dinner, but you can come for cocktails, please feel free to do so. The cost for the
dinner is $30 (VISA/MasterCard accepted). Please reserve your tickets by calling 527-5616 by April 7.

Psychology student Oscar Lazardabal (left) talked careers with Lyle Agar, a dentist and
representative of the College of Dental Surgeons of B.C. at Douglas College’s Career
Exploration Fair on March 15 in the concourse. The event was a success, and workshops
were well-attended. The organizers wish to thank all who participated.
