In addition to Bill Morfey's retirement, and Gerry DellaMattia's
leaving for two years, we have another leave-taking of major
significance occurring this month. Mr. Larry Davies, Director of
our Maple Ridge Community Education Centre and the heart of the
Maple Ridge/Douglas College partnership, is retiring this summer.
Both the School District and the College owe Larry a major debt for
the services he has rendered on behalf of the adult learners of the
Maple Ridge area. While he will be sorely missed, the maintenance
and development of our agreement with Maple Ridge will attest to
the quality of his work.
