Mad Hatter Page 2 Governance Review Committee The Governance Review Committee has been charged with the responsibility of providing an assessment of the effectiveness of the Douglas College curriculum and planning process. Members of the Review Committee are Marjory Ralston, Chairperson (local 2630), Jack Ferguson (local 3434), Bob Hirtle (local 3934 or 3705), and Jesse Sedhu (local 2784). Walter Hogg is providing consultation and Staff Officer duties (local 4801). The Committee is undertaking a comprehensive survey of faculty, admini- strators, support staff, and students to gather quantitative data and anecdotal comments. A Survey Questionnaire will be distributed to all faculty and administrators before the end of November. Support staff and students will be surveyed in early January. Following the survey data summary and analysis, the Staff Officer will conduct interviews with inter- ested College personnel and students to complete the process. The Committee will present a report, with recommendations, to the College President next semester. Please feel free to contact any member of the Committee or the Staff Officer with comments.
