JOB OPPORTUNITY

Camosun College announces a competition for: Chairperson; English
language training for a variety of persons requiring greater fluency
for citizenship, vocational or training goals.

The Chairperson should have qualifications, preferably at the graduate
level, and extensive experience in the teaching of English as a second
language. Duties and areas of responsibility will include curriculum,
staff supervision, student selection, placement, scheduling, liaison

with educational advisors and some teaching requirements. The Chairperson
will report to the Director of Community Education Services and will have
broad College-wide programing responsibilities.

Salary: Based on qualifications and experience and is scheduled
according to the current faculty salary scale.

Benefits: Membership in the Faculty Association with associated
fringe benefits and annual vacation.
