opportunities available through the
Burnaby Volunteer Centre:

-Buddy Volunteers needed to work one
to one with children and adults with
autism, take them to community events,
leisure activities, ect. Days & hrs.
flexible, 6 month commitment
-Carpenter Senior’s home needs
someone with carpentry skills who
enjoys working with seniors, to develop
a woodworking program for the
residents. Monday, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

-Reader Volunteer needed to read
minutes and mail before meetings for
someone with mild mental disabilities.
Times flexible, as required. 3 month
commitment.

-Canvassers National society is looking
for canvassers for a fund raising
campaign this spring. March until
middle of May, 2 - 4 hrs a week.

-Driver Drivers with class 4 license
needed to drive residents to medical
appointments. Good knowledge of New

-Ravine Cleanup Do you enjoy the
outdoors and care about the
