MAD HATTER Conference.... We have reached out to the ACCC's constituents - faculty, students, governors, administrators, support staff - and to actual and potential partners with Canada's Colleges and Technical Institutes - government, industry, labour, community agencies and other educational bodies - to fashion a program that we hope will be both challenging and enlightening. A specific theme has been identified for each morning and will feature prominent education and industry leaders beginning each day's activities. We will look at Partners in Education Experiences or Educational Partnerships, and Education and Economic Development. On all days there will be sessions on existing Partner- ships at work. In addition, we've responded to your requests and have organized sessions to meet your professional development needs. But Conference '86 won't be all work. We've also planned a full array of special events and tours, including a very special cultural Showcase featuring College talent from across Canada. After the Conference, you may want to take one of the tours or travel to Vancouver to take in Expo '86. The Conference '86 schedule and registration form are available in the January 1986 edition of College Canada or call or write the Conference '86 Office, c/o Mount Royal College, 4825 Richard Road, S.W., Calgary, AB, T3E 6K6; (403) 240-6391. We look forward to meeting you at Conference '86. Donald Baker, Chairman, Conference '86 Chuck Harrington, Co-Chairman.
