Monday October 23,1989 The Walker in the Wind In the Mind of Man there lurks a Raven, And Sirens that rend the silence with Fitful shreiks and wails that would freeze The blood (if they coulod but be heard). Dark mists dart and dance about the tree Wherein the raven reveals his secrets. The walker in the wind stands and strains, Ethereal, before the large black bird. "Why," he asks, "is it that my dreams are So dark? So filled with demons dancing In the still monnlight? With other horrid Dead creatures come to clasp my hand So tightly it seems their flesh is one with mine?” The raven opened his great eyes and growled, "Are your dreams silly because they look Nothing like the world about you? Lock With your true eyes and see that il is not The wind that whips you, nor demons that you Dance with, nor the dead that grip you. "Look, and see that just as your dreams Mirror your soul, you sruggle to make this World mirror you dreams. Stop dancing with Your demons- face them and let the living world Shape your dreams before the death takes Your dreams from you. Forget this not!” As the walker turned to leave, and ponder on What the raven had said, the Raven began to cackle. by Curd Gebeshuber ze Flud COME ON Down Other Press You circle me brown lips smiling moonlight shining on lively breasts no stranger to the night’s silken touch we both know where we stand You with your eight sisters i huddled close to your furry neck watching the fleas crawl and bite you draining your blood ignoring your cycle Now i am standing on your stomach knowing the night ready to suckle, i take what ineed » my circle is drawn 10.
