MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COUNCIL CHAIRMAN APPOINTED

Allan Cairns of Delta, B.C. has been appointed chairman of the Management
Advisory Council for a one year term effective September 1, 1980.

Cairns, a professional engineer, was a senior executive of COMINCO Ltd. until
his retirement. The Management Advisory Council is one of four councils in
the post-secondary education system.
