The Douglas College Fashion Program ‘students are
participating in ‘‘Shoptoberfest”’ to help raise funds for
a proposed trip to Paris, on which as many students as
financially possible will go. They would like to visit
some of the fashion and design houses in Paris, and thus
broaden their scope in fashion. Any groups wishing to
have these girls organize a fashion project, are asked to
call Phyllis Herndl at Douglas College, Surrey Campus.

‘' Surrey Place’s ‘‘Shoptoberfest” is a time of fun and If interested, send a note to
frolic for the whole family. But Thursday and Friday
evenings should be especially. fun, when the students
from Douglas College’s Fashion Program will be
participating in the ‘‘Shoptoberies| ’ celebrations.

_ Supervisor of the Douglas College Fashion Program,
Phyllis Herncl, is co-ordinating the two evenings’ activ-
ities. Here’s what will be happening each evening:
