Among the recent additions to the Centre’s resource library are the information booklets on patents, copyrights, trademarks and techni- cal design. There is no charge to clients for these and many other publications in the Centre’s library, although publications such as the International Self-Counsel Press series are available to purchase. The Centre has also acquired the very exciting BUSINESS DISC — an interactive video system. The Business Disc is a video simulation which will lead the client through the steps of planning a small busi- ness and then allow him to ex- perience managing the business for twelve months. The program will allow him to: - experiment with different plan- ning options and to outline his plan in a fraction of the time it would normally take. - figure his income needs, busi- ness expenses, sales expenses, sales fluctuations and pricing. - ‘talk’ with, and respond to, professional advisors and other business owners, and to vicariously experience the first year in business, based on the decisions he has made. If he already owns a business, this will provide him with valuable information that may help him to improve his business. For more information on this wonderful system and other ser- vices being offered at the Centre, contact Sherry Naso at 526-4808 or local 5496, for a more certain busi- ness success. Hf a
