WESTWATER LECTURES-1976 CONTROLLING POLLUTION IN THE LOWER FRASER RIVER In the spring of 1972 the Westwater Research Centre initiated a programme of research on pollution of the Lower Fraser River. This research has examined the physical, chemical and biological condition of the river, the sources of pollution, the technology and policies for controlling pollution and the legal and administrative structure for deciding upon and taking action. This programme is virtually completed and the lectures listed below will be an oral report on the findings and conclusions of this set of studies.
