SPECIAL FACULTY LISTS

 

The Special Programs Branch of the Ministry of Education is often
requested to recommend to school districts names of professionals with
special expertise in different aspects of the special education process.

The Special Programs Branch wishes to compile a list of professionals
who are available and willing to assist school districts in such areas as
diagnosis of children with problems, prescription of special education
programs, evaluation, policy development, etc. The proposed projects
would be seen as short term.

Would you be so kind as to inform you Faculty members of this
request, and ask that they communicate their interest in writing
directly to me, enclosing a brief resume, areas of interest, telephone
contact number and address. We would appreciate receiveing this in-
formation by April 30, 1980.

REVISED BOOKSTORE CLOSURE DATES

 

Because of the campus tours by the Self-Study group on March 26
and 27, the following closure dates for New Westminster and Surrey
Bookstores will now apply:

New Westminster Friday, March 28,
Monday, March 31

Surrey Tuesday, April 1
Wednesday, April 2
Thursday, April 3

All Bookstore outlets will be apened as usual on Wednesday, March
26 and Thursday, March 27.

AH, WILDERNESS

The Douglas College drama department will present Eugene O'Neill's
autobiographical and nostalgic comedy of youth, 'Ah, Wilderness'. The
play, under the direction of Gwyneth Harvey, has already been in rehearsal
for several weeks. Sets will be designed by Glen MacDonald. The produc-
tion will open at the James Cowan Theatre, Burnaby Arts Centre on April 16
and will run through to April 21.
