Women’s Open Seminars

' Over the past 2 years, women counsellors on all three campuses have led

the Women's Studies Open Seminars each Wednesday noon.

As of this summer, Counselling no longer has the womanpower to organize
and run these seminars. We appeal to any campus woman, or group of women,
willing to take over this task to contact us (Bonnie McGhie, Surrey; Beth
Morris, Richmond; Margaretha Hoek, New West.) The format of the Seminar

- is open according to the inclinations of the organizors and/or those

attending - rap sessions, women-oriented speakers, films, etc.

We feel the program is exciting and relevant, both for the large population
of young and mature women at Douglas College, and for interested community

women, and we would be pleased to help new organizors to get started.
