Wooton is specializing in selling
insurance for Metropolitan Life to
people who want to leave the death
benefits to charities.

He said it is aayaven that is gaining
rapid popularity because the anuual
premiums are treated as charitable
donations and are tax deductible.

Wootton has been working at his new
job for nine months after 17% years
in government jobs.

"That (leaving the public sector) was
after deciding that you are not always
judged by what you have done," he
Said. "I have no problems now with
unions, boards, or politicians."

No reasons were given by either part
for Wooton's dismissal one year ago,
but he said the issue was finally
settled out of court.

Wooton said the settlement “was such
that I am satisfied there was no
cause for the dimissal."

Before his 4% years with the library,
Wootton was a professional engineer
and past principal of Douglas College,
