These committees involve represent- atives of the senior, judicial, and educational agencies in the conmunity. The New Westminster Committee meets monthly. Each agency representative reports on new or interesting devel- opments in their agency. The POLO forum meets bimonthly and focuses on particular issues (eg. Sexual Abuse, Daycare}. For Agnes Site booking - Nancy den Daas at 524-0371 For Winslow Site booking - Pat Thomasson at 939-6611 CONTINUING EDUCATION - SPECIAL PROJECT Douglas College has received a grant from Special Project Funds of the Ministry of Education, Continuing Education Division, for the project: "Expanding Women's Access to Non- Traditional Employment: An Informa- tion Based Curriculum Development Project" This project will run for 3 months and will begin the production of informa- tion packages on: The History of Wom en's Work in Non-Traditional Areas, Current Labour Market Trends and Proj- ected Critical Shortage Areas, A Look at 3 or 4 Specific Skill Areas, Access- ing Non-Traditional Fields.
