GRADUATION 1979

I would like to publicly acknowledge on behalf of the Board and
myself, our sincere compliments to Gerry DellaMattia and all those
in Admissions and those who acted as volunteer help for what has to
have been one of the most successful graduations to date.

From the extremely positive and pre-college words of welcome from
Dr. George Pedersen, President of Simon Fraser University, through
to the dynamic and extremely well received talk by Frank Beinder,
Executive Director of the B.C. Association of Colleges, it was a
night for College supporters to remember.

For any of those unfortunate enough to have missed the proceedings,
we have on file a copy of Mr. Beinder's speech, and the Instructional
Resource Centre has a videotape fo the entire graduation ceremonies.

In closing, we would also like to extend our congratulations and
thanks to the Old Limelighter Chapter of the Delta Hospital Ladies
Auxiliary for the beautiful catering job. It capped off a very
successful evening. ,

LABS HOURS REPORT

 

The College would like to thank each and every employee who worked

on or contributed to the Labs Hours Report. This report has now been
approved by both the College Board and Faculty Association. This
culminates over three years of hard work, careful consideration and
the co-operation of many people. Thank you again.

The report and recommendations for implementation go into effect
September 1, 1979.
