Tonn in Coquitlam, strong public support was expressed for the Institute's proposal for an art gallery and nature park at Minnekhada Farm. The Heritage Museum aspect of the proposal was the subject of some doubts due to the limited space in the lodge. ; The idea of hunting in the marsh and forest was strongly opposed by the majority of participants and real estate development was ruled unlikely in view of the strong public support expressed for recreational and educational use of the area. I would like to express thanks to all faculty, staff and students who supported the Institute's proposal by attending the public meeting or by submitting completed questionnaires to the Advisory Committee. Merry Christmas! ....-Barry Leach P.S. On another subject - the sale of books, gifts etc. at New Westminster last week raised the College's donation to the Boat People Fund to $1,125. My thanks. to all contributors.
