ANNUAL RETIREMENT PLANNED This year, June 9 has been selected as the day to honour current retirees: Lorraine Aldridge, Gena Ballantyne, Ed Chalkman, Pat Disher, Alex Jones, Silvia Jones, Richard Kitson, Tom Phillips - and to welcome back the retirees from past years. Various functions will take place on this day. One of the main events is a wine and cheese party hosted by the Deans and the Bursar starting at 3:30 pm. in the Douglas Room (lower cafeteria). ORIENTATION HELP NEEDED The third annual Douglas College Orientation is scheduled for August 16th from 1:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. and August 17th from 9:00 am. to 1:00 pm. and 6:30 pm. to 9:30 pm. This year we expect between 750 to 1050 to attend the Orientation Sessions which will provide activities and information designed to introduce the College to new students. If you have any suggestions for content, or are willing to participate in the Orientation activities - greeting new students or acting as a tour guide - your help would be greatly appreciated. B.C.
