Dear Sir For many years the National Capital Commission has been arranging tours for visitors and school groups. The Commission now has a Manager of Tours and Special Projects, Mrs. Kathleen Cosgrove, and she is prepared to handle any requests for assistance for guided tours of the Ottawa region. The Manager of Tours will offer free of charge the following services: = an itinerary prepared for each group which includes a visit to the Parliament Buildings, the Mint, the War Museum, etc., and a visit to the Member whenever requested; - literature in the form of guidebooks, pamphlets and other brochures; a the services of trained guides on a two hour bus tour - transportation to be supplied by the visitors; - parking for buses used by the group. The Commission also owns a hostel located at Greens Creek, ten minutes from downtown Ottawa, known as the Orleans Farm. A maximum of 48 persons can be accommodated there at a cost of $4.00 per day per person, including a light breakfast. If you wish to use these services, please send your requests to Mrs. Cosgrove.
